Vegetarians do it better

Ever considered a vegetarian diet but been concerned it won’t provide you with all of the necessary nutrients?
If you’re pregnant or considering a child, have you been told a vegetarian diet would simply not suffice?

Well put simply, this is wrong.

Research released in the Medical Journal of Australia has debunked quite a few of these commonly held beliefs.

Dr Rosemary Stanton is a nutritionist based in Kangaroo Valley on the South Coast of NSW.

She says despite popular belief, adequate levels of protein, iron and zinc can be obtained through consuming a vegetarian diet.
