Dee Vyas has not touched anything healthy or green for 22 years.
The 34-year-old says her lifestyle has suffered because meals at restaurants and supermarket trips are a nightmare.
Ms Vyas also balks at the smell and taste of meat, leaving her reliant on an unhealthy diet of crisps and chocolate.
‘I panic if I see fruit or vegetables on my plate – tomatoes make me shudder and bananas make me cringe,’ she said.
The office administrator blames her fear, known as lachanophobia, on being forced to eat her greens as a child.
She insisted: ‘It wasn’t just childish rebellion – I actually
couldn’t stand the sight or taste of any vegetable or fruit I came

‘But vegetables left me as sick as a dog so when I turned 12, I decided enough was enough.’
Ms Vyas, from Harrow, north-west London, said her parents were very supportive of her choice.
